Summer Youth Bus Pass

Amador Transit is offering a Summer youth bus pass for kids 6-17 years old. The bus pass provides 2 months of unlimited bus rides on all in-county bus routes for $40. See the attached flyer or visit amadortransit.com for more information.

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on June 11, 2025, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St., Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.
 

Celebrations

Jackson Elementary Food Drive

Jackson Elementary's Student Council hosted a canned food drive for the Amador County Interfaith Foodbank. Summer is the hardest time for the food bank, so the students wanted to provide some help. They collected 1,015 cans in total!

Casey Casagrande Field Dedication ⚾

On Sunday, May 18, the baseball field at Independence High School was officially dedicated as Casey Casagrande Field. The dedication event honored the many lasting contributions he made as a cherished educator, mentor, coach, friend, and devoted family man.
